About the Parks
Terra Nova National Park (Parc national Terra-Nova) – Rugged coastal national park spanning 154 miles with trails, campsites & resident black bears.
Connemara National Park (Pairc Náisiúnta Chonamara) – Some 7000 acres of mountains, bogs, heaths and grasslands, with wildlife and scenic walking trails.
Similarities between the Parks
• Diamond Mountain (Marconi) :: Signal Hill, St. John’s (Marconi)
• Both parks on the coast
• The Physical terrain
• Ownership
o Newfoundland: part of the Marconi infrastructure is owned by Parks Canada
o Clifden – part of the Marconi infrastructure is owned by National Parks and Wildlife Service
